On 4th of July, americans celebrate USA’s Independence Day, they celebrate freedom. It’s tradition to share a barbecue with friends and family which sounds in a very similar way to us (think of stateside ‘asado’).

This is how americans celebrates freedom:

More about casual parties and fireworks! Could be lunch, dinner, and all in between. People’s homes, outdoor concerts where  picnic prior then listen music followed by fireworks, lots of red, white, and blue decorations.  It is mostly about outdoor barbecues and getting together with friends and families.

And this is the most traditional food on Fourth of July:

  • Grilled corn
  • Barbecued meats (so many choices… hamburgers, tri-tip, etcetera.). The whole barbecue ritual – different grills, smokers, Big Green Egg.
  • Sauce — some people make their own, others spice up something.
  • Watermelon
  • Salads – potato salad (so many versions,), cole slaw, green.

Happy Fourth of July! Enjoy the freedom to celebrate with Argento wines:
